SEPTEMBER - Critical Race Theory
Ken Gontarz, President of Francis Howell Families
Mr. Gontarz statedd that the key components of CRT can be found in a document written by Washington University in St. Louis titled Critical Race Theory Whiteness Studies. He believes that the Marxist ideology is the exact opposite of Capitalism on which our county was founded. He further stated that “Equity” in CRT does not necessarily mean that everyone is equal. He claims that Marxism is all about what is good for the masses but not good for the individual person. He said to think about CRT as looking at race through a Marxist lens and that it is basically class warfare.
Ken gave an excellent slideshow presentation using examples of CRT and citing resources that you could use to determine if CRT is being taught in your school districts without your knowledge.
